Design brief for Liam

Name: Cactus TV (channel 4)

Field: Television Network (comedy) – 24-hour channel

Colours: vibrant colours – steer away from purple

Demographic: adults and children

Notes: playful, vibrant, fun, versatile (standard logo for adults, playful logo for children), simplistic, unique enough, characterised (will be animated)

Similar: Comedy Channel

Usage: watermark on TV shows, network vehicles, vehicles, staff clothing, business cards, sports sponsorships, website

I'm really not a fan of this business card, particularly due to the way in which the paw of the puppy is presented.. You would think that it is more along the lines of something from a horror film rather than a club. In addition, the text colour for the website URL is pretty hard to read from the white, something a bit darker would be much nicer and easier to read.

This business card is very nice as it is very clean and still rather simple even though it is pretty vibrant in colour choices.

The Mercedes-Benz logo itself is very simple and can stand very well on its own. It's very simple and elegant, and it is timeless. The logo can be easily remembered, although at first it might be hard to identify exactly what it is Mercedes-Benz does.

This is a very bad logo. Photographic images like above simply ruin any chance of versatility, timelessness and simplicity. The camera on the tripod looks too complicated, too much 3-dimensional.
